Where is it good to eat and drink?
Especially for you, AT&PC visited a variety of Gasthäuser, Gasthöfe, restaurants and café's in the city of Salzburg, in the Salzburgerland and in Oberösterreich. The addresses that are given below are certainly worthwhile visiting; the list is of course not complete and it will be updated regularly.
Salzburg Stadt
In the old city, the Salzburger Altstadt, in the Getreidegasse, the Sternbräu Gastronomie Welt can be found; a variety of different types of restaurants. We visited here "La Stella", a little italian Trattoria. To be recommended for those who really like the italian kitchen.

Also in the Salzburger Altstadt is a little café, Konditorei, that was already established in 1884. Cafe Konditorei Fürst is situated near the Alten Markt, in the Brodgasse 13. You will find here a large choice of drinks and pastry.
Here, in 1890, the Salzburger confectioner Paul Fürst made the first of the worldfamous Mozartkugel.

Tennengau
In Adnet, between beatiful mountains, Bar Restaurant Almstüberl is situated. A cosy and good restaurant. All meals are freshly prepared by your host, the Ofner family. Every time of year, tourists and local people can meet here.
Pinzgau
In Zell am See lies Gasthof Steinerwirt at the Dreifaltigkeitsgasse 2. "Traditional hospitality for over 500 years". This restaurant also belongs to the BÖG Gastronomics.www.steinerwirt.cc
In the center of Lofer is Cafe Konditorei Frühstückspension (breakfasthotel) Dankl. You can have here a good cup of coffeee and pastry; also small courses are available.www.cafedankl.at

Mondsee
In Mondsee you can find a very good and cosy café; Cafe Konditorei Braun is situated at the Marktplatz in the center of Mondsee.
Ristorante Pizzeria Nudelini is also at the Martplatz (Nummer 5) in Mondsee.
