2006: Year of Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the best known Austrian of all times. In 2006 it is 250 years ago that he was born. Mozart, already a celebraty during his live, is nowadfays known as "the"musical genious. He was a serious, callical composer, but also he produced easy listening music and in the 18th century he was known as an international popstar.
The music of Mozart belonged to the whole world. The "Big Party" for his 250th birtday is celebrated in his home country: in Salzburg, the city where he was born, in Vienna, where he stayed in the last years of his life, and in many other Austrian places where he stayed for some time.
On our Mozart page we are giving you a short overview of events that are organised in various places in 2006.
Salzburger Festspiele 2004
The Salzburger Festspiele is a major event with classical music and opera, which takes place every year in July and August. The various performances take place in the " Festspielhaus" and at other, various places in the city of Salzburg.

On your request, AT&PC can put together special arrangements:
- Your stay in the city of Salzburg or in the neighbourhood of the city; AT&PC has contacts with several hotels and "Gasthofe", from 4 star hotels in the city to 3 star" Gasthofe" in the close neighbourhood.
- Reservations for the various performances, whether or not in combination with a dinner.
- Various cultural and other activities during your visit.
Every year, especially the top performances (for example the Mozart operas) are sold out very quickly. A large choice of performances will still be available when you make your reservation in November or December.
Austria Festival 2004
From the 19th until 21st March 2004, AT&PC was presented with a stand at the Austria Festival 2004 at the "Bouwcentrum"in Antwerp. The Austria Festival is a yearly event, organized by the Belgian society AUSTRIA FREUNDE:
- A three-day exhibition with stands of tourist organizations and hotels from various parts in Austria,
- Performances of various Austrian bands and musicians during the whole festival.
Het Austria Festival 2005 will take place on 22, 23 en 24 April 2005!!!!
This year, the festival will be at the Alpheusdal, Berchem, Antwerp.
AT&PC will then again be present with a stand.
